>Proscrastinating on the last day of work.

The Classic Star Wars Test

tootoot! Alia, you're R2-D2! You're spunky, resourceful, and just a little deviant. It should come as no surprise that your Star Wars type is Artoo-Deetoo. Just like the diminutive droid who bailed out Luke and the gang more than a few times, you have tons of tools and tricks at your disposal. When in a bind, you are usually the first one who thinks of the solution (even if your zeal for adventure got you into trouble in the first place).

When in a bind, you are usually the first one who thinks of the solution (even if your zeal for adventure got you into trouble in the first place).

You are a loyal friend who people can confide in. They know that you'll guard their secrets as if they were the plans to the Death Star itself. What some might call stubborn, you call driven. No amount of obstacles will get between you and your goal.

***
Which "Friend" Are You?

OC! OC!Alia, you've got a little bit of Monica going on! Mon! You're the normal one, honey, in the best way possible. You're caring, you're responsible, you look to the future—what a gem. Wait a second, did you just start editing for grammar mistakes in the middle of reading your own compliments?

Mon! You're the normal one, honey, in the best way possible. You're caring, you're responsible, you look to the future—what a gem. Wait a second, did you just start editing for grammar mistakes in the middle of reading your own compliments? Ok, so you like things, well, the way you like them. But even when you're smiling through clenched teeth, waiting for everyone else to get with the program, deep down, you're really still smiling. You're just waiting for that impatient moment to pass.

When it comes right down to it, you are thoughtful, meticulous, and good at what you do. As for romance, you can be a little picky and want things to be just-so. We wouldn't expect anything less. And like the original Monica, if you can avoid rushing into things, you'll find the right match and all the happiness your sweet, finicky, heart deserves.

>Crying break.

I had a really bad Wednesday. I snapped at the receptionist, screamed in the edit room, punched a door and kicked a chair. I slammed my drawer, pulled at my hair, cried on my desk, cried in the bathroom, and cried in the garden while smoking a cig that I could hardly puff because my airways were filled with pathetic snot.

When the shit hits the fan and you're trying to act professional by bottling everything up and acting calm, that can actually work against you. You've got to find time to just let it out somehow somewhere via violence (without hurting anyone physically, of course) or tears. Let the tension flow out of you, then you can relax, think and regain your focus. In my case, I went into a fit, got exhausted and then cried to a good friend over the phone and just breathed. After half an hour, I freshened up and went back to fixing the problem with an I-can-do-this mindset.

Different things can trigger a good cry and when it's there, there's no use stopping it. Just find a nice spot and cry your eyes out. Your face will get a puffier, but at least your heart won't be as heavy anymore.

***
I received an email from a good friend of mine in Spain and I was just about to read the first line when I started crying for no reason, except maybe for the fact that I miss her. A lot.

Funny how crying just takes hold of you and you can't do anything but breathe when possible.

Ho-hum. Back to work.

*Love you, Baby Dolphin.

>Just another day at BYC?

An incomplete Wednesday Group with three generations of film directors. Robert Quebral with Peach, Lav Diaz with Bahag, our very own Quark Henares...with Special Thanks Lia, of course. :)
Posing-posing outside BYC.
Robert and Lav behind Peach, Joey, me, Knox, and Bahag.
In front are Quark, Ramon, Lia, and Alexis.

The Wednesday Group met up in BYC last Saturday for the 2nd Indiefilipino.Com Screening: Robert Quebral. He’s popular for his witty music videos for Parokya ni Edgar, True Faith, Kyla, Francis M, and the beautiful black and white ads of McDo in the late 90s.

I loved watching the video of Francis M. because I remembered watching it on TV for the first time and loving it’s 80s flavor from the clothes to the dancing to Francis M himself. My favorite Parokya video was the boy band spoof in the beach, and what I liked about the videos for True Faith and Kyla was that even if the songs were seriously romantic, the videos were really funny yet still pretty cinematic.

We also got to watch Deaths R Us, a short film that he made under Filmex Productions if I’m not mistaken. I really enjoyed it. It showed that he was a talented cinematographer and that he had a kind of humor that just popped up even when the storyline was serious. I also liked the kind twist in the ending. It was an open ending and the interpretation I was left with was a good and happy one: Start anew, take the plunge and enjoy life. He explained after the screening that other people had funnier interpretations, (slight spoiler) that the main character swam back to Manila. Haha!

Paint was another short film that we got watch. It was written and directed by Bong Salaveria and starred Karl Roy and former MYX VJ Kaz. There was no dialogue. Just the beautiful music of a cellist whose name I forget. The images were really cool and the editing was smooth and rugged at the right moments. Oh, and the cinematography was good, too. Very pretty colors.

Aw, sleepy Canadian.
Lav Diaz and Alexis.

Before the screening, I arrived early and caught Alexis interviewing Lav Diaz, the director of Batang West Side. He’s a really nice guy with really long hair and it was nice watching him and Alexis talk, especially since Alexis really likes Batang West Side.

Atleta 'to! Whoohoo!
Me with Bahag.

I also met Bahag (short for Bahaghari. :) who does cinematography for Lav. He also happens to be a former member of the Philippine National Fencing Team. Way cool! He’s won one or 2 gold medals in the SEA Games, so I asked him to be my celebrity for the day. Hence the picture. Yey!

After the screening, we just hung out and watched a few Smashing Pumpkins videos c/o Ramon. Billy Corgan still had hair in a few, so we found those really funny. I especially enjoyed watching the Bullets with Butterfly Wings video. It reminded me of 3rd year high school when Ryan Asuncion and I would just scream the phonetics of “despite all my rage, I’m still just a rat in a cage” in class, until one day Mon Tanwangco gave us the lyrics and voila! We could actually sing it. Mababaw na kaligayahan ang sumunod dyan. Anyway, the DVD had some cool features and graphics, and Margie and I liked the costumes of the lady bassists (I forget their names). There was one video that I really liked where the band was just playing in a large, empty room with green carpet covering the floor. The lighting was cool, the clothes were cool, and I extremely enjoyed the pop-ins of the edit. Yup! I love pop-ins.

Ibarra, what are you looking at?
The Indiefil crew.

Alexis, labo! May takip pa yung lens mo!
Ramon and Chris nice and bright in front.
In the darkness are Lia, Neva, Carlo, and Alexis.

Look at Neva's pretty makeup! And Lia, you look so cute!
Lia, Neva and me..

Yeehee!
Joey Brash and Margie.

The group broke up at around past midnight and Carlo and I hitched a ride with Ramon and Neva to McDo, Greenbelt where we waited for my sister to pick us up. Carlo bought some food and we sat on the sidewalk because the place was already closing. We always find ourselves sitting on some sidewalk doing nothing, but this was the first time that we sat on the sidewalk of Paseo de Roxas. Weird. And to kill time, we took pictures of ourselves with good ol' Mr. Ronald McDonald. Good thing my sister came a few minutes later because we were starting to look really stupid. Ay, no. We DID look stupid. Hehe.

Hey, Carlo! Let's take some pictures with Mr. McDo!Ack! Don't do that here!
And to think that we didn't have any alcohol all night. Maybe that's why.

>Old Makati.

Don't you just miss those geometric sculptures?

Remember this? This is how the old Makati Commercial Center used to look. If you remember the original Makati Supermarket, well, that’s where it was. Now it’s in Alabang, and weirdly enough, it’s still called Makati Supermarket.

Music in the park.

Now the outdoor malls have a different look. Take the new Greenbelt for example. More bricks, more curves, more plants and still a lot of fountains. Vida and I caught the Jazz and Blues Fest there last Saturday (Sayang, Chris! Cookie Chua was there!), and the Wednesday Group went there for Tim Yap’s Halloween Party. It’s still nice there and they have pretty cool events, but what my sisters and I miss about the old commercial mall are the sculptures made by different artists. They’re way more interesting to look at compared to those stupid giant mushrooms.

*Photo of Old Makati from the Philippine Star.

>It felt like the world was in Alabang last Sunday.

Another Cuenca bazaar.

“Welcome to the Great St. James Bazaar,” said the lady with the mic. I asked my sister, “Shouldn’t it be the St. James the Great Bazaar?” “Maybe it’s because this is the biggest bazaar in Alabang,” she said. I went to the front and I was right; and in a sense, so was my sister.

Every year, the ostentatious church of Ayala Alabang holds the St. James the Great Bazaar. The proceeds of the bazaar go to the completion of the church. My reaction to this, of course, was, “Are they crazy? Di pa ba tapos yung simbahang yan?” Nikki explained last night that the church is building a new parking lot somewhere. Where?!?!

I only drove to Cuenca because I had to pick up my eldest sister. She was hanging out in a friend’s booth called Scent Rack. When I arrived, all the small streets were filled with cars. Not just on Malvar St.! Oh no! All the way to the next one parallel to that! Grabe! I could imagine all the cars parked around the Church and Dama de Noche and...God, horrorrr!

Good thing I found an empty slot in the empty lot on the corner of Agoncillo St. I walked in and the place was filled with temperamental shoppers shoving and squeezing their way through each aisle. Unfortunately, I had to pee, and the line to the bathroom was terribly long. I think the bazaars should setup some portalets next year. Later on, my sister had to go to the bathroom, too, but no way she going to use the one in the gym. So we walked over to Jomi’s house down the street. Hehe. “Hi, Jomi! Um, paggamit lang po ng banyo!”

The Cuenca bazaars in Alabang are really fun to attend. You can bitch all you want about the crowd but you’ll always end up buying something; and when you get claustrophobic, you can just walk out into the field and get some nice fresh air. There’s a bazaar there every weekend, so I’m sure that there’ll still be one the weekend before Christmas. If you need to do some VERY last minute shopping, then the Cuenca bazaar’s the place to be. If you live up North, though, well, bahala ka! Good luck in the overcrowded malls! Yuck! I hate overcrowded malls.

I love Cuenca field. :)
The bazaar used to be limited to the Cuenca basketball court.
Nowadays it spills over into the parking lot and the football field.

>For those who love the Philippines. Hehe.

An airplane was about to crash and there were 5 passengers but only 4
parachutes.

The 1st passenger said: " I am Tiger Woods, world's leading golfer. I could
still contribute to the game and I feel I should live." He grabbed the first pack
and jumped off.

The 2nd passenger, Oprah, declared: " I could still give pleasure to millions of
TV audiences and am not ready to die." She took the second parachute and
left the plane.

The 3rd passenger announces: " I am Fernando Poe Jr., da Action King in
Filipino movies. I will be the next president of the Philippines and I must survive."
He took a nearby pack and jumped out of the plane.

The 4th passenger is the Pope and told the 5th passenger, a young Filipino boy
aged 12: "I am old and sickly, I have had a full life and am willing to sacrifice. Go
and get the last parachute so you will save your life."

The boy answered: "Do not worry Good Father, there's a parachute left for you.
Da Action King has taken my school backpack! "

MORAL: Filipinos, please, enough of these no-brainers, LET'S VOTE WISELY!

Dear Lord! If FPJ wins, I am definietely moving to Hawaii!

And have you heard the news that he's afraid of heights? So how is he supposed to make those presidential trips around the world? By boat? This factoid alone shows that's it's all a ploy to get Erap back on the throne. Vote for Da King and you'll get the idiot Erap back where he thinks he belongs. Why doesn't he just stay in jail? God!

A few days ago, Dolphy was on the news and they played back this interview that aired some months ago. A reporter asked Dolphy if he would ever run for president and he said no because he knew that he'd win. What a good guy. But can you imagine what it would be like if he were our president? We'd have 5 first ladies (Well, if he and Zsa Zsa Padilla are already married by then, she'd be the official one. Wow! Diva ang first lady! How bongga!) and 18 first children. Dang! They'd fill up the whole Malacanang!

*Funny email forwarded by Aissa [who still owes me a picture with Carmi Martin]. :)

>Relearning the art of cramming.

I did a lot this weekend and I’m really tired. I woke up early Saturday morning to meet up with friends for lunch in Greenbelt. Then I headed over to BYC for the Robert Quebral Film Fest. I went home pretty late and woke up early this morning to attend a baby shower in Makati. Then I drove back south to get my eldest sister in the Cuenca Bazaar (I bought a lot of stuff, too. Stuff for myself. Yippee! When will I go Christmas shopping? I wonder.).

My family and I attended Mass after dinner and now I’m trying to study the PADI Open Water Diver Manual for my test and pool session tomorrow. I don’t know how I’m going to pull this off because the manual is 266 pages long and I’m only in page 11. So far, I know more about the importance of buoyancy control and the relationships between pressure, volume and density. I’m typing up a reviewer with key words so that I can cram some more tomorrow morning, given that I finish it by then, but I’m pretty nervous. If I don’t pass this test, I don’t get to start on the pool sessions.

Reading the manual is pretty cool. I feel like a Bio Major again studying pictures and diagrams that demonstrate how atmospheric pressure affects our lungs. Towards the end of the manual is a chapter that includes First Aid and I’m pretty excited. If only I can study faster so that I could get to it in page 251.

I’ve always wanted to learn how to dive and I only wish that I had started studying sooner. There was only one copy of the manual in the office and everyone was taking turns photocopying it. Silly me, I kept on forgetting to join the photocopying frenzy. Good thing I remembered that my second sister had a license and that her manual’s been sitting on her shelf all this time.

Taking this course has been a dream for me ever since I feel in love with fish in grade school. I’m a pretty good skin diver, but scuba diving looks a little scary. There are a lot of things to think about and a lot of devices to tinker with, so I hope that I fully absorb everything that I’m reading right now. Apparently, learning this stuff is a matter of life and death, which is why I cannot continue the course if I fail because if I get in the water and I make a mistake, well, I can die.

Phew! It’s one thing to cram for a test. But to cram so that you can learn how to stay alive under water? Dang, that’s scary.

***
I had no idea that SCUBA meant Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. Cool!

***
HBO is showing The Gladiator right now. Oh no! How am I going to study now?!?!

Hmmm, it makes me miss playing Age of Empires. Well, at least the beginning does. Plus I am reminded of Trinka and Chris in Senior Year. Maximus!!!

>Wasting away like a phoenix waiting to burn.

Today is a non-working holiday, the end of Ramadan, and I don’t want this day to ever end. I just want to sit here at home and do nothing, be completely unproductive until nightfall. Well, I am thinking of going to ACE Hardware to purchase a shelf for all my things for work (and some other junk that have no where else to go), but aside from that, I just want to be a slug.

There are times when work just drains the life out of you and you don’t want to do anything at all for one day. At least one day. What’s funny is that sometimes, you think you didn’t really do much work all week, and yet by the weekend you feel so exhausted that no amount of Enervon C can get your ass out the door for some meaningless fun.

I remember when I was only 2 months on the job and already raving about how exciting albeit tiring work has been and a friend of mine told me that he was worried that I’d get laspag at a young age. It looks like he was right. And the sad part is that I haven’t earned enough money to accept that sad fact.

I know that something good will come out of all of this, that I’ll be rejuvenated by some big break of sorts, but all this waiting is just tearing me up inside. Hell, I don’t even have any nails left to bite!

>A munchkin?

Take the Purrsonality Quiz!

Munchkins have short little tiny legs, due to the same genetic mutation in
daschunds and corgie dogs. Not only do they look like eternal kittens,
(or at least midget cats), they never really quite grow out of the kitten phase
and remain playfull and happy. Also from what I hear, their little legs are
fully functional and just like little weiner dogs, they skitter aroud fine with
no problems.

Once again, I'm not intelligent. Eck. I'm a mutant!

And an obobs mutant at that!

>Violence and testosterone overload.

I'm doing a profile story on Daniel Foronda, Jr., president of the Philippine Federation of Pankration. Pankration basically means freestyle fighting. So yes, my story will have some violent footage in it.

Foronda, otherwise known as Mumbakki, competed in the Universal Reality Combat Championship last November 23, two Saturdays ago in Casino Filipino, Paranaque. There were 19 fights and his was the 15th, so I had to endure 14 rounds of violent, bloody, oh so wonderful violence. My god! The high in that arena was so overwhelming! Men and women were screaming their lungs out, asking for more, MORE strikes, take downs, lock ups and tap outs! Man, even Michi Valeriano seemed to be having the time of her life! I had no idea that she was into this. Apparently, she takes kickboxing on the side. Aliw! Richard Gomez was also going crazy in the crowd (And dang did he look good.), and Vandolph and his gang had a very good view near the judges' table. Aside from the celebs, I saw a lot of familiar faces from the South. The Sarian boys like the Yaptinchai brothers and Pichon Garcia, Franc-oh's sister Danny, the Defensor boys minus Paolo, Andaya, Jiggs, Hector, Tonio B, and (Dig this, Carlo E!) Carlo Cortes (Whoa! I haven't seen him in eons!!!). There were also a lot of friends texting me from far away, "Ikaw ba yung may camera?" My childhood friend Macky was one of them. And what the hell? What was Chiki-coco's sister Dinah doing there? She was this sweet little girl and, and...dang I'm old.

I was right beside the ring with all the other cameramen (Former Probe cameraman Jopet was there for GMA7's Emergency. Cool!). They all had big cams and I just shot with my little cam Bai. It was a little scary because the fights were right there in front of you, and it was even freakier whenever the fighters moved to the edge. Alvin Aguilar's guys were on the sides and they were pressing against the fighters so that they wouldn't fall off. It was funny, though, when the fighters looked like they were about to fall. The referee and the Sarian boys would go in the ring and carry the fighters to the middle while they were still locked in their grappling positions. When all was good, the referee banged on the floor and fighting continued. Parang nag-pause ba. Labo,no? But I guess it makes sense when you're on a low budget and all you can afford is a boxing/ wrestling ring instead of an octagon like in UFC.

It was an amazing experience and finally seeing Foronda fight for real against Gerardo "The Garote" Calaycay was way cool. The fight was a little slow, though, because Calaycay had a lot of control over Foronda; but after one wrong move by Calaycay, Foronda got out of the lock and reversed it. He had Calaycay's knee and ankle in a dangerous lock and at one point, he actually felt the knee pop. He quickly let go, but Calaycay didn't tap out, so the referee allowed the fight to continue. Foronda tried to tell the referee that the knee popped, but Calaycay kicked him, so he held on to his ankle again and eventually popped it as well. Foronda let go of Calaycay who was unable to stand up, and the referee Foronda the winner.

Everything after that was pretty wild. Calaycay laid on the floor and the medics started rushing into the ring to help him out. Foronda became pretty guilty about his victory, so he followed Calaycay backstage and as the medics went to work, he kept on apologizing for the pops; but Calaycay was so nice about it and he kept on saying, "Ok lang 'yan! Kasama 'yan sa laro."

Man! Talk about being a good sport! I mean, I know that every sport has it's dangerous side, but getting both your knee and your ankle popped by your opponent? That's scary! God, I have so much respect for these guys. I know that they've a bad rep for starting brawls in bars and stuff, but most of them are just really good athletes and watching them get their asses kicked in the name of their respective schools was awesome. Wow. Such violence!!! Grrrr, grunt, grah! Woohoo!

My profile on Foronda will be airing on the 14th. That is if I finish the script by this morning!!! Hoohoohaha. :)

*By the way, there's this interview in ironpinoy.com and it says that it's by Jay Ignacio and yours truly. Uh, no! I don't remember ever asking Foronda if he ever practiced breaking bones on the carcasses of cows!!! We're working on taking our names down because I'm sorry, but it looks like a pretty, um, crappy interview anyway. It seems that the webmaster doesn't know who did this interview, though. So darn it, man! Those are our names! Just take them down! Please!!!

>Body shocker.

I think that I’ve been shocking my body a little too much. I’m not healthy at all. I don’t go to the gym, I don’t have a sport, and I don’t get to do those video exercises anymore because our darn VHS player is busted.

Whenever I have to exert a lot of physical strength, I’m always surprised with how strong I still am. Last November 2001, I raced 18K with Team GamePlan in Urban Jungle – Baguio. Training: zero. Place: 6th. Last May, I swam 2K for my relay team with Annarod and Chic in the Speedo triathlon in Anilao. Training: zero. Time: 33mins. And some time in June, I ran the New Balance 25K Marathon with Jake and Mark E. Training: 2 weeks. Time: 3 hours. There were also shoots such as the Del Monte race and Carrera Habagat 2002 that required a lot of running and panting and I think that my body’s only reacting to everything now.

I hardly get sick. Yeah, I get allergy, but that’s different. That’s more like bad food, bad luck. But since I jogged 2 Sundays ago (5K in 31mins) after 4 or 5 months of no exercise, I’ve been feeling pretty sickly. Bad, bad.

Last Friday, the GamePlan crew left for Matabungkay, Batangas to cover the First Ironman Triathlon Philippines on Saturday. The real crew consisted of Cam, Joy, Gie, Akiko, Rovi, and The Gil and Bernie Show feat. Mandy . I just tagged along (I instantly became a support camerawoman. :) to see how the race would go. Now I’m convinced that all the participants are crazy, and that I definitely want to be one of them someday! :)

Now how do you shoot a triathlon? Well, it’s sort of like shooting an adventure race. A few cameramen ride motorcycles while the rest stand in certain points of the course and shoot the racers as they pass by. As the racers change leg, we change positions as well. Problem: We weren’t provided any motorcycles. Good thing we had Diego, GamePlan’s very own Nissan Frontier. Hehe. We got some road shots from the back of the pickup, but since Matabungkay’s roads weren’t that wide, we had to do a lot run-with-the-racers as well. I did a lot of running during the last leg and since this was a triathlon (In adventure races, there are stops per event, and some racers end up walking.), the runners were pretty fast. Stupid me, I didn’t bring rubber shoes. All I had were my trusty Tribu sandals and for the first time, I got blisters on the sides of my feet. Darn it! Too much pampering from the foot scrub I guess. Anyway, I’ll write about the race another time, once I get my pictures up.

I had to go home at 11pm, so I didn’t even get to finish the race (The cutoff time of the race was 12mn.). I was supposed to go home with the crew Sunday morning, but I was worried that I wouldn’t make my Ultimate Frisbee shoot with Tricia Sunday afternoon. So I found a ride with Def and Kylene’s boyfriend Anton and apparently, I was so knocked out that they made 2 stopovers and ate while I was slept in the car. Haha! I actually remember both stopovers. They asked me if I wanted anything and I just said no and fell right back to sleep.

The next day was frisbee day and I was so excited, but then I had a really bad headache, plus a bad stomach to boot. I remember Carla coming home from the airport at about 6 or 7am and saying hello and dumping my pasalubongs from the States on the bed while I laid there giving her a groggy welcome back. I woke up at lunch time, rushed to the office and headed to the Fort Bonifacio Army Field where I met up with Tricia who was very paos. Dang, she was sick, too.

We had so much fun shooting the frisbee game, especially the crew. Denor kept on shooting until there was hardly any light, and Jonathan and Rudy played on the side. The game’s like basketball and football, except you can’t run with the frisbee. You can run while it’s in the air and once you catch it, you’ve to pass it to another teammate until your team makes a touchdown at the other end of the field. Once the frisbee falls to the ground, it’s turned over to the other team. Tricia did very well, but she also got tired very quickly. The players asked me to join, but just jogging made my stomach hurt real bad. So we left at about 530pm because Tricia still had to rush to Rex’s show (Yes, he’s back) and there was no more daylight for our cam. I rode back with the crew to get my car at the office and by this time my stomach was really killing me, so you can imagine how horrible my drive south was.

I was even planning to watch a movie with Miggy, Diego (not the frontier) and Betts. Well, I did make it to Diego’s house, and I even had some of their delicious spaghetti, but Mantan said that my head was getting really hot. No use trying to enjoy a movie when you feel like shit, right? So I went home, puked (So much for the spaghetti!), crashed, and slept in ‘til lunch today.

I’m feeling much better now and I can actually read without getting dizzy, but I feel bad because I missed the Monday Meeting and I absolutely hate missing out on the Monday announcements. Plus I missed Die Another Day in Town and Apocalypse Now Redux on Star Movies last night, and right now some of my friends are watching Lord Of The Rings in Mo’s house. I must get well quick! I still have to write and edit this week! Whoaho, I can’t possibly miss an edit! That’s a no-no.

I've got to figure out how to get back in shape. As in REALLY get back in shape. Darn fever.

I once said that if I ever saw Rorouni Kenshin (Samurai X) dubbed in Tagalog, I'd bomb the network airing it. Looks like ABS is going to die!!!

Think about it! Instead of dubbing all these foreign cartoons to Tagalog (Have you seen GI Joe dubbed in Tagalog? It’s the stupidest thing! “Real American heroes” speaking Tagalog. Oh how convincing that is.), why not work on making good Filipino cartoons instead? We have so many good animators, graphic artists and writers anyway! Why not give them jobs, eh?

Or if they want quality TV for kids, then why doesn’t GMA7 put 5&Up back on the air? I swear, these networks can be such dolts sometimes.

Carla gave me a tripod for my camera. She said that it was from Papa. Yippee! A tripod! And it’s so cute. It’s candy blue! :)

She also gave me the Unauthorized Biography of Lemony Snicket, and it came with the Unfortunate T-Shirt. Heehee. Way cool pasalubongs.

I decided to take out the chatterbox and the tagboard altogether. I figured that they really slow down my page's loading time. Hehe. I also got a new guestbook c/o Meg and Ate Cyn's sites. :) So please check it out and sign it if you have the time.
